It's an interesting proposition to sit for a portrait. Some drift away completely, others remain fully engaged and present. We never really pose the model, it's much more interesting to let them find what's comfortable. I never cease to be amazed by capacity for expression of posture, the way a person holds themself, their body becomes the portrait.
