"Improvisation VI"

This piece grew from Improvisation V. Being rendered with colored pencil allows for a more intense weave of drawing without becoming muddled.
I think of these works in somewhat of a musical context, -having areas robust and full, playing next to more subtle, open passages, with rhythms and patterns repeating throughout in varying intensities.
For the most part they're all a continous effort, the preceeding work giving rise to the next and the next.
