I
took some liberties with this one. Some of the rythyms ran a bit contrary
to my sense of things; the waves, the radiant lines of the shell, the fabric
encircling the figures to the left of venus, as well as aspects of the figures
themselves. I proceeded with these changes with no small degree of trepidation.
I did so not with the mind of improving something which is certainly not to
be improved upon, but with the notion of where such departures might lead...
