King Rama V

While teaching in Bangkok, I drew a portrait of King Rama V, very similar to the one shown here. I took the drawing to school to show to my students as an example of my work. The next day a student in my 5th grade class said her mother wished to see the work. Her mother turned out to be Adjarn Malika, the sister of the Nopdol Tumwattana, the gentleman who would subsequently commission me to draw the nine Kings of Thailand, as well as several large paintings of his family's rich history.
