This
is the most recent of my drawings on eggshell. The edgeless, borderless surface
is perfectly suited for the collection of drawings from nature. I'm attracted
to the idea of liberating an object from it's identifying context. This enables
the object to be more objectively "played" and it's essential and
fundamental characteristics, to be seen free from the distractions of identity.
The potential for exploration in this approach is what excites me most, it's
where I feel the main thrust of my efforts will continue to be directed.
