The spherical, the edgelessness of the eggs' surface imparts it's influence
in unforeseen ways. This figure, one of Michelangelo's unfinished captives,
along with one on the opposite side, arc and reach over the central figure
of Moses, forming a natural arch, an
enclosed space, framing him within their forms, creating a new context within
which to consider a well known work.
