Michelangelo had originaly envisioned a very ambitious project when undertaking the commission for the tomb of Pope Julius II. The full scope of that vision was never fully realized. I've chosen to "reunite" the figure of Moses with two of the "unfinished" captives or slaves that were originaly intended to be a part of the tomb.
