Walter
and Lena Menefee were my Grand Mother Frances' parents, my Great Grand Parents.
I never knew Walter, but my Mom always talked so fondly of him, what a gentleman
he was and of his love for Lena. I was fortunate to have known my Great Grand
Mother, she was a quiet, sweet woman who used to hand sew gifts for her grand
children for Christmas.
We gave this drawing to
my Grand Mother on the occasion of her 90th birthday.
