I
found this tiny mouse skeleton on a shelf in the basement of a house my sister
was renovating. Just this delicate little thing laying there perfectly preserved,
waiting to be discovered. I placed it on a bit of velvet and arranged vertebrae
and dried strawberry tops around it. It
was a welcome stretch from the pieces I'd been doing from the Renaissance.
This piece brought the exercise of drawing to a level of heightend intensity.
My eyes enjoyed the stretch.
