
This
is a portrait of my Fathers' parents. Gordon worked as a ranch hand and a
miner in Northwest Colorado. Just recently engaged, Edna had come to visit
Gordon on the ranch where
he was working at the time. Just to the right of them you can see the open
door of the car she had just arrived in. I think they might have been a little
anxious to see one another.
This drawing was a gift to my Dad for his sixtieth birthday.
