I like to think of this as a portrait of our home at the time as well as a
portrait of Teresa. It's
one of the few times I've asked anyone to model for me for an extended period
of time. Time moves
differently for the artist and the model. The flesh is infinite, there's always
something more, the dialogue could go on endlessly. Teresa was extremely patient
and understanding in allowing me always, just a few minutes more.
I've
done so little of
this kind of drawing,
revisiting it's world stirs me to want to return.
