Charlie
Musclewhite is a blues harmonica player, one of the greats. He came to play
in a small nite club in the town where I was living at the time. I knew this
would be a unique opportunity. This painting was done from the drawings I
made the night of his show.
When the mood is thick and the music's cookin', as it was on that night, there's
no better place to be -to transcribe a bit of
the theater onto the page.
